Ukrainian women deceive foreigners

There are beautiful girls in Ukraine - and this is a fact. This is evidenced by various world rankings, and this is confirmed by foreigners who are fascinated by photographs from the Internet. Very often, foreigners, hoping to get acquainted with a beautiful Ukrainian woman, look for acquaintances through social networks or dating sites, falling into love scams.

Therefore, not all dating scenarios through the Internet ended with a happy ending. In this article, I want to tell you about how Ukrainian women deceive foreigners in the modern world, defrauding their money and how not to fall for such tricks.

The scheme of deception often looks like this: a couple (a foreigner and a Ukrainian) get to know each other through a social network or a dating site. They begin to communicate, while the Ukrainian willingly responds to messages, making it clear to the victim that she is sincerely interested in getting to know each other and further communication. Further, the swindler begins to put pressure on pity - a difficult fate, an ex-husband a rapist and an alcoholic, a sick mother, war, forced relocation, and so on. By doing so, they understand their difficult financial situation. In support of her words, the scammer can send creepy photos (real or just from the Internet). The victim (foreigner) actively empathizes with the scammer and wants to help, thereby offering material assistance.

Thus, the scammer swindles more and more money until the victim realizes it. Further, just a scammer simply blocks the victim and any further communication is impossible.

An example is a story from the Internet. Tony from Lebanese Beirut talked for a long time with a certain Anastasia. She told him that a shell had hit her house, all the documents were burned, and she asked for money to draw up new documents. The young man sent her $200, after which she persuaded him for another $400 (in order to leave the territory of the occupied Donetsk). But the reunion of the lovers did not happen, according to the classical scheme, she was "robbed", stealing a ticket, passport, and the remaining funds. The man did not start all over again. Instead, he consulted with an immigration officer, finding out that the new passport of the chosen one was a fake

So, all the same, how not to fall for the hook of charming swindlers?

When communicating on the Internet with Ukrainian women, you should follow a few simple rules:

Before transferring money, chat with the girl via video link and make sure that this is a real person who matches the photos. Ask for a photo of the girl's passport. If you make money transfers, keep all supporting documents. Try not to transfer large amounts.

Perhaps someone wants to check the girl by hiring a private detective. Unfortunately, private detectives operate outside the law in Ukraine, so I cannot recommend this method.

Information about a person should be "extracted" to the maximum: full name, phone number (mobile), address, etc. If a girl only gives you an e-mail, then this is the first sign that they want to deceive you (in most cases). It is difficult for a simple layman to verify personal information, but if this information is very small, then it will be difficult for a specialist to verify it.

If possible, be sure to try to verify the phone and mailing address. For example, you can send a gift to the girl's postal address. Thus, making her happy and finding out her real address.

If a new acquaintance you met on the Internet reports that she urgently needs money, and they continue to persistently "untwist" you, this is the first call to think about whether the person wants a relationship.

Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to check a girl for whether she is a swindler or not. Because there are no special sites with reviews, and the women themselves can appear as fictitious names.

What to do if, after all, a foreigner fell for the scam of Ukrainian girls?

Most often, such actions fall under Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Fraud”. And if a foreigner was deceived, then it is necessary to contact the police. The police are obliged to start an investigation, call the fraudster, interrogate her, demand documents confirming money transfers, and perform other procedural actions.

Fraudsters face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Contacting the police is not always an effective way to protect the rights of the victim, because the police are reluctant to investigate such cases, sometimes refusing to initiate a criminal case. Therefore, another effective way of protection is to file a lawsuit in court.

The following documents must be attached to the lawsuit: - a copy of the foreigner's passport with a translation into Ukrainian, a copy of the girl's passport, her address in Ukraine, and most importantly, checks confirming money transfers must be attached.

If all this is there, then there are no barriers to claiming a sum of money from the fraudster in court.

In order to apply to the police or the court, you will need a lawyer who understands the Ukrainian legislation. Contact a lawyer in Ukraine Yemets Artem at +38 098 750 58 80, you can call or write to any messenger Viber, Whatsapp, or Telegram).
